As well as scriptwriting for film and TV, Peter has also worked as a showrunner, storyliner, storyboard artist and character designer.

 

His experience of working in many areas of the creative process to help transform simple ideas into memorable film and TV makes him a great asset to any creative team.

 

Peter started his writing career as a comedy gag and sketch writer in his home town of Middlesbrough after completing his BA Hons Degree at Liverpool Art College. He secured a sitcom development deal with BBC Comedy before being commissioned to write for his first Children's TV series.

His writing credits include Molly & Mack, Little Roy, Kazoops!, Dennis & Gnasher, Bali, Jungle Book, Olive the Ostrich, The Wombles, Chuggington, 64 Zoo Lane, Iconicles, Simon's Cat, Balamory and Bear Behaving Badly.

Peter has also written for a BBC prime time drama series and has both developed and written animated feature films. He has lectured on Scriptwriting and Story Development for Animation at numerous Universities and Colleges in the UK.
